Women’s Role in Shaping a Sustainable Future
For the first time, Türkiye hosted the 31st IFUW (International Federation of University Women) Conference, organized by the Türkiye Association of University Women, held in Istanbul between 14–21 August 2013.
Attorney Elif Sevüktekin, serving as an Executive Board Member of the Istanbul Bar Association Foreign Relations Center, participated in the mock trial staged at the IFUW Conference hosted at Kadir Has University, under the theme ‘The Role of Women in Achieving a Sustainable Future: Education, Violence, Women’s Human Rights, and Urbanization.’ At the 31st Conference of the International Federation of University Women—founded in 1919 and convened every three years—the mock trial was carried out for the first time, exploring procedural and practical aspects of trials, with Attorney Elif Sevüktekin among its key participants.
